Challenge #291 - Birthday Card - The Paper Shelter Challenge

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, todays theme over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog is for a "Birthday Card" and as you know its probably the one thing that originally bought us all to creating cards I know it was for me so Im sure it will be a easy theme for you all to follow and we always look forward to seeing your projects.
As always our sponsers are The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website

But as always it comes with the rule that you must have used one of their products on your card or project, this could be a Image, Paper or Printable and even if you dont they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice, so it really is a win win situation dont you think.
And now to show you the Card I created for this Challenge.

This little man is called "Casual Boy" and you will find him here, I printed him onto white card then coloured him with my copic pens, afterwards I used a rectangle die to cut him out, then used a larger one and black card for the mount.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of black card and the paper I have used is also from the same image set "Casual Boy" and you will find it here, and then on top I placed my mounted image towards the left, I cut out the leave scrolls and laid them down the right hand side
and then on top I placed my sentiment which was typed on my computer and printed and placed on another piece of black card to mount it.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Birthday Card" Challenge.

Cutie Pie Challenge - "Bunnies and Chicks"

Good Morning Crafters, we were asked by our DT Leader Christine if we would take part in The Cutie Pie Challenge by creating a card "Bunnies and Chicks" as I am on the Pink Gem Designs Design Team and of course this Challenge is being sponsored by Janet and we thought it was a very good idea and was happy to oblige.

And here is the Card I created for the Challenge

This little lady is titled "Sending Bunny Hugs" and you will find her here. I used a Card design and created this decoupaged image for this Challenge, as you can see by how much it pops away from the card there are several layers to mould to give it depth.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the Cutie Pie Challenge Blog and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Bunnies and Chicks Challenge".

Challenge #192 - "Ribbons and Lace" - Pink Gem Challenges

Good Morning Gemsters well this fortnights Challenge over on Pink Gem Challenges is "Ribbons and Lace" and we girls really love playing with these so I hope you like my card. Of course you want to know first who our sponsor is and that is Janet Roberts of Pink Gem Designs

and here is the card I created for this Challenge

This little lady is titled "Emma in a Hat" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used the Little B circle dies to cut her out and a fancy one for the background, I used a stamp from my stash and layered this up on a smaller circle die from the same die set.
The large mount I attached lace all around the edge then stuck my image on top. The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of mauve card, the papers are also from Pink Gem Designs and this set is called "Sugar Cane" and you will find them here, I used two of the papers and layered them as shown in the photo, then attached a ribbon around the middle across the two edges of the papers.
I then placed my mounted image in the center with the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner, to finish of I have used several punches to cut out the flowers and moulded them afterwards I layered them up, and placed them on top of some punched out leaves in the bottom left hand corner. To finish of I used Nuvo drops in several of the corners.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope you will pay a visit to Pink Gem Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Ribbons and Lace" Challenge.

and as always they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website, and if you have used one of their products on your card they will offer you this whole amount to spend but if by chance you use another make they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice so you really cannot loose by taking part can you? But please dont forget if you are entering more than once you are allowed 3 entries and at least one of these must carry one of our products either a Image, Paper or Printable.
And now to show you my card:-

This little lady is called "The Best Soccer Player" and you will find her here, we have in the family a very talented young lady who really not only loves playing Soccer but also Rugby so I thought this was a ideal image to use for her Birthday Card I hope you do to.
I printed her onto white card then coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used my Nestabilitie die to cut her out and a fancy one for the mount out of green card. The sentiment is one from my stash and the mount is a smaller one of the same die as the one used on the image.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of green card, the papers I have used are from Sweetshoppe Digi papers and this set are obviously about football, and I have used four of the papers and used a border punch along 3 on them and layered them up as shown.
I then placed a ribbon across the top and down the left side and attached it to the back of the first mount and then placed my mounted image towards the left and the sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish off I have used three football buttons down the right hand edge at the top.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Girl Power" Challenge.
